SCP Foundation

Coldposting my first JamCon entry because it's late and everyone in site19 seemed busy. Thanks to ARD for inspiring this one with the following comment:

This one is based on the Tungusic creation myth.

I have the same problem with this that I do with a lot of "[religious, folk lore, or pop cultural thing] is back, in SCP format" articles. Namely, that much of the enjoyment and understanding that is derived from the specific ways in which the story is told and uses its medium. Stripped of the specific story-telling context, and not adapted to the medium of a SCP document, it loses almost all of its value as anything but a reference. Just as I wouldn't be interested in reading The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The SCP Article, I wasn't particularly interested in reading this.

I will say that I enjoyed the dreamy quality of the recovered footage, but the article overall did little to nothing for me.
