This was a journey to write. Crashington lost electricity a couple days in, but like the baller he is, he refused to give up. It was a bit unorthodox, but we found a way to keep collaborating. It was a blast working with him, though. I'm super proud we managed to pull it off!

While this definitely has improvements over the draft, I still feel the basic structure and plot have issues that made it hard for me to enjoy this. I'm going to -1 for that, but I do appreciate that making the changes required in the amount of time the contest provided would require a Herculean effort.

It's been a while since I read her tales, so I could be wrong, but this feels kind of… too malicious and calculating for Isabel. It doesn't quite read like she's actually creating the toy to be fun and accidentally/naively doing harm, which I would buy, or her just being childishly self-centered. It mostly just feels like she's doing something bad for her own benefit.

Edit: I don't mind new takes on characters, especially ones that may not have been in circulation, but this doesn't feel like a positive evolution.
