Hello! This was for the Collaboration Contest, and was co-authored with Pokemonprime. GoI format is here. I rewrote this article by mostly adding stuff because I missed some details the first time around, causing the tale to inevitably fail. Thanks to cybersqyd , ADream , and 5150wned for commenting on the first version and giving feedback! And thanks to Pokemon for reading my tale more than twice, and to everyone who read it the first time.

Leonard is fine as he is.

I will say that my biggest gripe with this piece, both pre- and post-rewrite, is the use of the phrase: "Am I cool now/yet?" It's used as a wham line here but ends up serving the exact opposite purpose, because there is a lot more to AWCY's ethos than (what I could consider) a throwaway line that really only represents the group at surface-level.

I enjoy this a lot more than the first version. Conner is a lot more engaging as a character and the effects of the anmusic are interesting, both on Conner and the audience. Overall, this feels a lot more focused in comparison to what I remember of the previous version and definitely earns an upvote.
