I dig this. The main sore point for me is Hades as a character; I’ve seen variations of “god updated for 21st century is a cheerful smooth talker angry at another, unseen important religious figure” too many times to do more than roll my eyes when he first showed up. On the flip side, the blackjack game was fun to read and I was enthusiastically pleased to discover that the game had been rigged.

Reminds me of Good Omens.

I've still got some gripes with the primary description and the overuse of "they", and the escalation of conflict in the addendum still needs a climax before the show-down. I still can't quite get behind the "House" character, or "Pluto" for that matter.

But it's a fun read, and a very cute concept. I'd just like to have seen more grounded events and responses. Right now, it feels as though "Vegas slipping into hell" is happening in a bit of a vaccum. Sure, there's some lethargy, horned folks and general hedonism, but it doesn't seem all that… dangerous?
