Wow this was a jump. While drafting this more than doubled in length from its original concept, adding everything below the collapsible. I'm happy with how this dumb bread joke turned out.

I love the premise, and the "take it a step further" nature of the narrative. Starts out as a silly bread-cop that steals sandwiches, ends up being so much more.

Overall, it was too long for me. The extended logs drag while you read them, but there's a payoff when you "get it." But after I've gotten it, that the Foundation has been poking something that didn't need poking, I need the article to end. The long letters feel like a speech re-iterating everything about how the Foundation messed up, when it's already very clear they did.

Still a great concept and execution. Thanks for this!

Hah! Good work. The unique responses to the variety of sandwich contraband entering the town really does help build the personality of the anomaly.

At first, I was a bit wary of the huge addendum you tacked on, but the allusion to the Foundation itself actually worked quite well. I do agree with peppermint though. A lot of the data from the addendum could be condensed. You take too long to get the point across. Still, cleverly done. +1

Should this be ‘set in place’? Unless, of course, you’re referring to a currency used in several Asian countries.

I live near Sandwich, and it only makes this even better.
