Shouldn't 682 have been a tad less talkative/intelligible, though?

I was so resistant to this at first, but it actually works. I like it, god help me. Also, 682 is very intelligent and capable of very precise speech, however it's consuming hatred, fear and disgust of life usually doesn't let it get many opportunity to speak. My only issue is with 682 smiling, just because 682 does not often have a orifice capable of this action, more often having something armor plated or hinged in a way that makes this impossible. Other then that, not bad…however, wasn't there some old cartoon show with something like this in it?

You're probably thinking about Gleep and Gloop from "The Herculoids". They were one of my inspirations for writing this, along with my own two cats and my childhood love of Silly Putty. The idea behind this was that I was trying to make something that was 682's complete opposite: a cuddly, tickley blob of pure happiness that loves all creatures great and small.

As for the smiling- I figured if 682 is so adaptive, it would develop the ability to smile and laugh in the presence of 1011- as well as gain its tickling powers.

What's with the rampant tags?

I like it, but the 682 interaction is too over the top. It's like you're trying to invoke the little girl effect

Bah, I don't think it is over the top, if Mr. Blobby Ball can induce total euphoria on any living thing.

My only problem is…. What if someone is super ticklish and pees their pants? XD Okay, so that's not really a problem….
