Some more neo-CI stuff, much like they appeared in the tale Chasing Interest. Hope you enjoy it.
I'm not sure the tone is quite right… :)
There are a few grammatical errors in it, is this on purpose?
Digging this new direction the CI is taking. +1'd and hope to see more.
And if the whole world is crashing down… fall through space out of mind with me.
I am unsure about this, probably because I don't know the CI (or this canon) very much at all. I was okay with the concept, then minded to downvote for the 087 reference (because the idea that one of my favourite skips can just be duplicated makes it so mundane that my headcanon forcibly rejected the thought). And then read the interview, and felt like I was being told off for feeling that way!
No vote for now. I suspect that once I understand it better, I will upvote.
I like this version of the CI in a tale, but I can't take them seriously in a mainlist SCP article.

Seems like an odd distinction, but I suppose it's yours to make.
I don't feel the need to take tales seriously if the tone and content don't warrant it, but I do need to be able to take mainlist SCPs seriously. This version of the CI was fun to read in that tale, but it just doesn't fit in with the site's more serious content by virtue of its fourth wall-breaking shit.

I agree. You had an interesting concept here, what with an item created for the sole purpose of wasting the foundations time, but the fourth wall breaking completely undermines everything else about the article and comes absolutely out of fucking nowhere. I don't usually say stuff like this, but if you take out the fourth wall break I'll upvote. For now however, it's a definite -1.
I dunno, the interview was a little too on-the-nose for my tastes.
