Thanks to TRutherford, Bread, CorpseofBixby, sword stuff and Bench for their feedback! The Surrealistics as depicted in 4923 were so interesting to me, and I just had to take a crack at them.
No idea what's going on here. Is that the point? I don't know. But it's well written and I like to imagine that the foundation has some perfectly reasonable explanation somewhere, in a separate document, of what exactly this all means and why it's written that way. Of course, letting us see it would ruin the fun, wouldn't it? +1
While I'm obviously biased, I really think the changes you've made to counterbalance the whimsical nonsense with tragedy make this a much deeper article. I really enjoy it's finished state. +1.
being the guy who has to liaison between Surrealistics and the rest of the Foundation must be absolutely awful.

I really enjoy the ambiguity of the person writing the report either understanding the anomaly in a way that anyone from any other department has no ability to, or just being wrong. I don't know which thing I'd rather believe. +1
If you see an SCP-5310 standing in a hallway or in the break room or something, that’s fine, it’s supposed to be there. If you see them all standing on the hill outside, that’s not fine, they’re not supposed to be there, go get someone immediately.
I love this part so much. I don't know why.
