Not gonna lie, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do this this year.

Black Autumn 3 kind of folded in on itself due to a combination of time crunch, one of my parents getting severely ill (like, multiple hospitalizations in the space of a week), and the fact that I was stressed by both work and on a vacation that said parent was ill on. But I'm going to do my damndest to get through Black Autumn IV, even if it kills me.

Hub should be up after three or four tales are posted. Thanks to everyone who critted this, and thanks to DrFullham for giving me the title.

In addition to your regular cast of chucklefucks from S & C Plastics, it also features Momoko from SCP-2085 (post SCP-2117) and Jane Weiss from MTF-Theta-90.

It's that time of the year again! Very excited for what's to come, as you're one of my fave writers on this site. Hope you're doing ok now, btw.

Very interesting that quite a bit of the story is set in Reno and the surrounding area. Usually no one knows that we exist lol. Minor gripe: there's like five Walmarts in Reno, so "the Walmart" (implying that there's only one) doesn't feel appropriate. But, you know, doesn't really matter.

As for some actual criticism, the writing in this tale is a bit scattered; the vignette style isn't working well for me because I feel like I need more context to be invested in each scene, and when this is your first tale in the series… Despite all that, your style still shines through, and each little scene still has the very distinct Ihp pull.

It's going to be a no-vote for me as of right now.
