SCP Foundation

So recently I heard about Project Foundation and I have multiple questions regarding the transfer of accounts between the services. Sorry if these questions were already addressed though.

Because it is going to be on a new provider, will we have to make new accounts? I read in the FAQ that almost all articles will be transferred over but what does that mean relating to our accounts. So does this mean it applies to our accounts? Can we just log in the same way we do with Wikidot, or will we have to register new accounts? If we have to register new accounts, what is stopping people from taking account names? The final question is how would are accounts work between the different SCP Foundation Languages? Like would I be able to write on the new service and still go back to the international hub for example and be an active member there?

Sorry if this is all confusing, its just that I recently just joined the site and I am confused. Thanks though.

We plan to transfer everything that's public over - all your revisions, pages, comments, etc. We'll probably end up reserving all active/contributor account names during and after the transfer. The intent would be for you to be able to reclaim your current username and hopefully not notice any differences. The site will be ours, and we'll have complete control over it, so we'll have no problem doing that.

Once Wikijump (the endpoint of PF) is open, Wikidot will (probably!) still exist - we don't have any control over that. We have most of the international sites backed up and we'll be able to transfer their site to Wikijump if they choose.

Of course you'll still be able to use your Wikidot account to edit Wikidot sites. Any sites that choose to migrate to Wikijump will simply be on a different website.
