SCP Foundation

I've been working on an idea for an SCP article and while trying to brainstorm ideas for it I looked at the MTF squads and noticed Omega-7 and Alpha-9. I don't really have the time or the will to read through both of these and everything about them, so could someone give me a rundown on the two? Like what's the differences between the two, how they came about, who's invovled, and most importantly would Last Hope be where ALL humaniod SCP's the Foundation is trying to use in the field or just some?

Omega-7 was a much earlier version of the team that was disbanded after SCP-076 (who was a member) went berserk and an entire Site was nuked to stop him. I know you said you didn't want to read details, but the story is here. It's a lot shorter than the Alpha-9 stuff.

Alpha-9 comes from the Resurrection canon, where the idea of an anomalous humanoid SCP MTF was, well, resurrected. SCP-105 is the only member of Omega-7 who is also in Alpha-9. I don't know the current state of the Resurrection canon, but I'm pretty sure they aren't actually fully approved and in action in that canon.

A word to the wise: Outside of the fiction, most SCPs that were in Omega-7 or were written to be in Omega-7 were deleted due to low quality. If you're thinking about writing a humanoid SCP into an MTF, be careful, you're heading into rough waters.

Honestly, most of the anomalous humanoids I know of in MTFs have their own specific MTFs instead of being in Alpha-9, and even then you still need to justify it. For example, Tau-5 sees a lot of use beyond their original stories, whereas I'm pretty sure Alpha-9 is only talked about in that particular canon.

Keep in mind I can't say for sure, but I think the difference is how much they are "playing with fire." Omega-7 was using the likes of 076, very powerful very dangerous SCPs, to go back to my fire metaphor, Alpha-9 is playing with a candle meanwhile Omega-7 is playing with a giant bonfire.
