I'm having the hardest time hunting down one of my favorite pages and it's driving me nuts! Anyone remember the one about the old woman suffering from dementia? EDIT: It was SCP-5666, highly recommend.
I moved and trimmed your thread summary, since it was taking up extra space in the main forum screen. Try to keep thread descriptions (the text in the little box under the thread title) and titles short so you don't crowd out other authors in the forum listing. ~Zyn
So seeing as there's literally thousands of pages on this site and finding the exact one in particular is like hunting for a needle in a haystack, I was hoping someone here could help point me in the general direction of the SCP article I'm looking for. I read it once when on break at work, absolutely ADORED it, and have subsequently never been able to find it again. If I remember correctly the actual SCP itself was either a haunted airport or a paranormal airplane, and the researchers brought in a "local expert" who was an older lady to help them research it. Around the halfway point in the article reality starts breaking down and the report itself devolves into a narrative centered around the old woman as she struggles in panic and confusion through hazy half-memories of her life, including her own wife who's face she can't remember, and at the end it's revealed that the old lady is either the Administrator or one of the O5s who has long ago suffered from dementia and the Foundation is just trying to keep her comfortable through this very scary time.
It really stuck out to me but, like I said, I cannot find it anywhere. I don't suppose anyone could give me a hand finding which one it was?
