This article makes my inner penguin feel warm and safe, especially since Winter is coming. +1

Ths removes the great wonder of how emperor penguins survive in such situations but I'm okay with.

And given that the vocalizations affect any living being, I'm guessing Gaia loves its penguins.

That collapsible is really unnecessary, considering that it holds so little information and isn't disrupting the flow of anything. Otherwise, it's a cute article.

It's weird to think that emperor penguins are only able to survive their breeding season thanks to an anomaly. This starts to push the line of "what is anomalous", vis-a-vis anomalous species.

That said, I was reminded of that one skip where a hotel room opens into a penguin breeding ground. I'd like to think these are related and something out there is really concerned with making sure penguins are protected. Final addendum got my upvote.

Neutral. This anomaly is just too weird for the Foundation to just say "hands off, everyone." some testing ideas :

• DNA analysis of the nutrient to try to identify the content
• deep radar to trace the origin of the tubes

And why Euclid? The only thing that would be harmed if this was uncontained would be penguins.

200 km/h winds

Wouldn't the penguins be blown away in such high winds?

On one hand, this is about penguins and I love penguins and we don't have enough of them on the site.

On the other, it's an anomalous explanation of a magnificent natural process… done in a rather boring way. "Weird tubes feed the penguins and keep them warm" is not particularly interesting. The feel-good aura is okay, but not enough to truly invest me in the skip.
