Prank Patrol was a tv show that took one person, chosen by the individual that contacted them, and helped prank that victim. In this one, at least as I view it, James called Prank Patrol to prank the main character. James gets turned into information, fakes his 'death'1. Then, everyone was infected with infohazardous james, ending with the main character to tell him he got pranked.

Ohhh. Never heard of it before, so while I appreciate the effort, the overall effect was lost on me.
I actually found it funny despite never having heard of or watched the show before. But hey, to each their own.
