I've been without any real internet access for quite a while, added in some issues with crippling depression, mental and physical issues, having four kids, two with autism, and just general chaos, I've had next to no time, energy, or will to do…well, much of anything.

However, most of these issues have been resolved (still have the kids, can't seem to get rid of them), so i'm slowly trying to get back to the things i love and enjoy. Which is this place.

I have written a bit in the time off, and have actually been making baby steps into a novel, but it's slow going.

I like corgis in theory. They seem adorable little lumps of stubby happy, but every one I've met in life has been an asshole.

One thing I'm surprised i haven't seen yet…honestly, I didn't know things existed we haven't converted into items yet. I guess it'd be more techy items, like earbuds, tablets and the like. it's always fun to go after the everyday items we think could never hurt us.

I adore how it's grown. All the budding off, art, games, music, it's a blast to see how it's bloomed. There's been good and bad, but that's just life, this place is in no way exempt.

Of course, I'd change nothing! However, if pressed, I'd probably put a stronger horror focus on things? We spawned from creepypasta, and I'm stubborn about that. Generally I just try to produce things in a tone and form that I like, and hope others follow. With all the people and talent here, though, trying to direct it is just silly, and would do more harm then good, i think.

I think it's fine, I remember back when we figured we'd never, ever crack the 1000 ceiling.

We've always had contests and events for the thinnest of reasons, I think it's as valid as any. We're a unbirthday-type community, so i dig it, I suppose.

What's your opinion on the satellite fandom's obsession with pairing Dr. Gears and Iceberg as a couple?

As far as Gears the character in general goes, it's weird. It started off just as a quick-bash placeholder to keep links in order, and as a sort of in-joke on documents and such, but quickly bloomed. As with most things here, once it takes off, it's somewhat like a shrub, you can direct it a little, but it's going to grow how it grows. I'm generally too jazzed to see people taking enough interest to do something with things I produced to worry overmuch about it.

That being said, some of the fanart is a little meh.

I intend to do that once spring break is over.

Trying to carry out meaningful conversations in the same room with two autistic and VERY active 8 and 9 year olds is an event.

I can't wait for school to open back up, you don't even know…

I am ashamed to admit i haven't been keeping up too well, honestly.

And as for newer, you'll have to define that a bit, I still have 100 series entries i don't know very well.

It's always so hard to pick, because I know people are going to feel left out, like their brother got a cookie and not them, so I normally try and take the middle road. Let me hit the entries a bit harder, maybe I'll have a less puffy reply then.

Well, I got the internet back, for one. Also, I'm in better shape, physically and mentally, then I've been in years. Been trying to get back into writing in general more, and seeing all the amazing stuff radiating out from the site…I missed you guys.

I have been picking over the latest batch somewhat, but my immediate recall is garbage. It's weird though, the fact that entries can be just a couple weeks old, and suddenly there's fanart, tribute songs, monotone youtube reviews…madness. I may have a better reply for you later, once I've been able to dive in more, but I will admit it's hard sometimes. You go though, and get ideas, just to find someone's already done it, and a lot better then you could…yes, even happens to me.

I'm generally pretty happy with it, it's especially nice to see 682 finally getting a little bit of love, people HATED that thing in the early days. It's always hard to let go the reigns of things you make, but watching how things can evolve and grow naturally is so amazing. The Church started life as a cult that just worshiped SCP items, the clockwork bit just grew organically. I inject my own tone, now and then, like the stories I've done for 106 and such, but generally I love seeing how things grow in another person's hands. I may have the odd quibble with minor bits here and there, but that's the overarching bit.

That's the nutty bit, it's rare I get deeply unsettled by things. Maybe I'm jaded, maybe I just get too in to the story, but things typically hit me well after my initial exposure.

It sounds dumb, but 173 probably elicited the worst reaction. This was back when /x/ was new, and 173 was just a random creepypasta floating around. The Holders series was the big creepypasta series at the time…anyway, I clicked on the picture, looked, closed it, and went and did other things for a bit. It was so damn WEIRD. Days later, I mustered up the will to actually read the entry, got interested in it, and now I'm here.

I think that was about the strongest reaction I've had. That's not to say I've not lost sleep or needed a hug now and then, but that's the time that sticks out the most.
