SCP Foundation

I like this. It's got nice imagery, you feel sad for this creature twisted to a horrible form and driven to uncontrollable rages who just wants to take care of their plants in peace. Eerie and melancholy. I like it +1

This is an idea I had the other morning heading into work at about 5:30AM where I took the photo above to show my freiends how inviting it was, and then throughout the day the idea slowly formed.
I'd like to thank Roget for his extensive work in helping me refine the idea, as well as Ihpkmn and Soulless for proofreading and helping the words flow smoother.

That picture is incredibly big for something that's shrunk down to 300px, and it's also 4MB so that sucks for people with limited data. You might want to replace it with this, or make a smaller version yourself.

I'll read the SCP later.

I like this, but it doesn't really feel big enough to be an X000 to me. I'll gladly upvote it after the contest, though.

Not quite a horror skip, and as a regular one, I don't know. I don't think I'm getting enough story here, though one is certainly suggested. It comes off as "creepy place with a thing that kills you if you bother it".

Unfortunately I'm not really feeling this. The the plant monster is not particularly interesting in my opinion, and I feel the role of supernatural gardener has been done before, and is not particularly interesting here.

On top of that, the part that I felt served as the most promising source of horror (the monster turning people into fertilizer) was glanced over and thus the article just doesn't come across as that scary, or even that creepy for me as a reader.

There is certainly fertile ground (pun intended) for this to be turned into a proper horror article, but as is, this just falls flat.

I don't mind the Scip. The event, and routine/explanation is good.

But I don't see a hook worthy of x000, particularly 3000(Horror).

Maybe if the story of the tattooed groundskeeper was somehow developed, there might be a link. No vote right now.

This is good as a regular SCP, but i just didn't feel the horror, i don't think this is worthy of the SCP 3000, but this is still is a good SCP, soo….

Take this as an IOU for one vote after the contest period ends. Did this scare me? Not really. But I did find it incredibly charming. As other commenters have said, I don't feel like this has the "punch" to be an X000, but I still think there's enough here to make it a good addition to the main list.
