SCP Foundation

Alright, this was a draft stored in the sandbox since last year. Thanks to those who had read it, like sirpudding, Univine etc. Now that it's the Year of the Rooster (since Janunary), now's the most optimal year to post an article involving chicken (meat).

-blinks- Your anomaly's name is a pun on chicken rice. And I think that islet is Pulau Ubin.

I'm probably biased, given I'm from Singapore, but +1 and a free plate of hainanese chicken rice for you.

Edit: Though I personally don't like the first picture - I think the article would be better off without it. It's pretty washed out and doesn't look very good.

The interview could stand another proofread.

I'm unsure on this… the future world you paint is definitely interesting and the humorous tone is good. I dunno, can't quite put my finger on what's not gelling for me. It might just be that the base anomaly is kinda bland for the amount of page length dedicated to it, or that like 60% of this is exposition. Not sure.

(I am admittedly biased against the Mandela effect.)

The future he's from kind of seems Douglas Adams-esque in its absurdity. +1

This is a SCP with which, had I written it, I would be​ insufferably pleased. Take my +1, you munificent bar steward.

I really like the base anomaly behind the article (especially as someone, who, uh, loves Hainanese chicken rice). I do, however, agree with Petrograd—writing is kinda sloppy in a lot of places ("During which, it is to be transported to a modified adjacent cell", " rounded up for questioning and treatment", "was not possible, thus amnestics was used"). With MrWrong's blessing, I could go through and try touching things in the non-interview section up? When it comes to the interview section, the dialogue wasn't really doing it for me; it seemed kinda stilted, and I wasn't that into the world-building. In all, comes out to a neutral vote on my end.

Everyone knows 辣椒蟹煲 is way better than 海南鷄飯

Aaaand my island also doesn't appear to be safe from skips. Dear Lord.

+1 since I absolutely adore both Hainan chicken rice and the off-kilter, humorous world you portray in this article.
