Wow this is your first one? It's a masterpiece one of the best scps I've ever read. The writing is excellent and the story is awesome. My first scp is currently in deletion. Your really amazing at writing scps.
There's no way this is your first SCP. The mystery, tension, everything is just…perfect. I actually couldn't find any flaws in this, besides a question. Did we detect the first few signals, or did this thing reach 0 a few times before we discovered it? The written logs that were found in the exploration thing might be able to explain it.

Thank you! I don't think it's as of yet ever reached zero — that being said, I don't know how to imply that without being too explicit (the implication I'm reaching for is that if this thing had ever reached zero, we would have noticed).

Yeah it's great idea to delete great article, beacuse 1 grammar error :^)
Voting based on grammar mistakes is not in violation of the voting policy.
It may be slightly pedantic, but they're well within their rights to downvote if they find a legit issue in your article.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure they were joking! But either way, I wouldn't be bothered if someone down-voted this on the basis of a grammar mistake (I don't think I'd be bothered if someone down-voted this for any reason, really!).

Good rule of thumb: if you have to tell people it's a joke, it's probably not a good joke.

The problem with written jokes is that there's no voice inflection, so it's hard to have sarcasm come across correctly.

No way. I dont buy it. This is a very good SCP, and i didnt find a single thing wrong with it. This is simply amazing. The suspense, the horror, the mystery behind it. This is among my favorites.

This is good stuff. It has a really great set-up, a bizarre anomaly with a sinister core. The entity behind the broadcasts isn't provided as much screen-time as I would perhaps have wanted, and through the interview, it comes across as a little bit generic with a standard 'deal-with-the-devil' vibe. The ending is also somewhat of a let-down; it doesn't reveal anything new or suggest some fundamental change in the nature of the anomaly. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it as a whole - it's genuinely unsettling.

In retrospect, I think your criticisms are pretty spot-on — if I was rewriting this again, I think I'd dump the interview, dump the incident report, and focus almost exclusively on the Audio-Analysis bit — finding another way to (lightly) imply that this was some sort of attempt at a Russian super-weapon / destroy-the-world bluff.
So what do I think happens at 0? (I am doing this because I like theories, especially ones where you can't go wrong without trying). Well, they were talking about this Atom deity…persona?….thing
so let's assume that it has to do with that, and that the children play a part.
So if the Atom person is part of the atom bomb, then can the sacrifices to it create the power of the atom bomb? Further: waht (dat spelling doh) if it uses the souls or whatever you choose to consider it takes from the children to make the blast? If we go by the rules of magic found in the Eragon series, one human (or elf) can create a blast that turns (guessing here) a kilometer radius into a kilometer radiOACTIVE.
So all the children being used for the Atom, would create a far larger blast….
How do we know it is a bomb? Heh heh, the countdown. It is counting down to the detonation, assuming the Russians are still wanting to destroy the Americans, waiting for the all clear.
It may not be the devil, but it is the grim reaper in(RADIOACTIVE)carnate.

I had the impression that "atom bomb" was just a phrase they were using to mean "really powerful weapon", not that the scary thing is actually atomic. It's a supernatural WMD, is all.
