SCP Foundation

So this is my next big thing, I guess. It's been in the works for a while, and I'm finally pulling the trigger. So that's what's up.

Many thanks to decibelle, AidenEldritch, Silber, and the multitude of others who took a look at this. I really, honestly appreciate it.

Edit 2: also side note I wrote and posted this on my phone and that's very hard and my thumbs hurt and I do not recommend it.

I want to play this so badly, I want this as a VR video game, this looks so fun !

Like I said, the opening note is too long. Numerous postscripts and a redundant and unneeded opening paragraph (none of which are tonally fitting with Wondertainment) make it the only bad thing about the article.

Meh. "What if there was an SCP board game" writ long doesn't do it for me, and in my experience, the fun of board games comes much less from the game system itself and more who you're playing it with. I stuck with this in hopes that all the mucking about in mechanics would pay off, but I got a dump truck of one-liners and some gameplay ft. people I don't care about.

I'll stick to Cool Games Inc.

All things considered, it's not truly the first article centred on the Foundation-themed tabletop game.

This is good fun. I like it. I wonder if the guys at Escape from Site 19 will think when they see this…

Love it. Jumanji SCP edition with your own twist to it. Hearty up-vote.

I love the idea of this, but there's a lot of things about this, which don't work.

For one, this seems really out of character with Wondertainment, which I felt could have worked as a different GoI, or just not involved Wondertainment.

Secondly, and this is a pattern I've been noticing with a lot of your recent projects, there's a lot here, with not a lot to grab the reader early.

While the size and scope of this were impressive, I don't know if it really justified the length.

I appreciate the work that went in to this, and I think the writing was good, but it just didn't grab me in any meaningful way.

I originally downvoted this, but I think I'm gonna change it to a no-vote. This had enough work, and technical accumen that it should definitely not be downvoted, but I can't make it to an upvote.

I absolutely love this. The references were well done in my opinion, and I love the cards.

…Now I want to write "Shut Up & Sit Down Reviews: SCP-3301." Definitely going to write a review tale of this, not sure if I'll shamelessly appropriate the likenesses of Paul and Quinns or make up my own reviewers.

Either way they're going to pan this for being the Ameritrash it is.
