Okay, this is a cool idea. :) I've got a couple articles that fit the bill, so I hope they get picked up! (Won't mention which, as it would likely be in bad taste.)
A quick suggestion for those helping with the "Young and under 30" project - if you're reviewing an article for the project, please title your post to refer to the project, and call for others to review as well. I hadn't realised that people had put several articles up for review until I looked at the second tab again, because the forum posts didn't refer to the project.
And I'd suggest that we don't have more than one article under review at a time (around one article every 2-3 days) - I'd like this project to focus as much of the attention of the "Recent Posts" crowd on a single article as possible, otherwise it won't have as clear an effect on votes and feedback as everyone would like.
That said, let's leave the current five or so in place for a week or two, and work through them before moving on to the next.
I applaud everyone's enthusiasm so far - just hoping to refine the process slightly to make sure we get best value from this.
Just a note, the listpages is currently looking up articles with a rating <=30, which means this is basically Young and under 31.
Dunno if that was intended or not.
Added a voting module to the page. Other staff might feel otherwise (and this isn't really a staff post either), but I can't see a compelling reason to leave it off the page. It's positively rated, as it should be. Good luck on the project, I might help out myself when I have some free time.
Good to see this up! psul, if you're okay with this being featured in the front page site news, do you have a blurb you'd like to use for the entry?
No strong preference on a blurb - thanks for putting it up on the front page!
I'm positively surprised. Ever since I was introduced to the SCP wiki, I've always felt this missing something, which I have never been able to identify at all. But upon knowing that something like this is happening now, that missing something have somehow lessen. Job well done! ++1

I think the initial vote count for SCP-2587 is borked: scpper shows that it never reached above +20.
If I recall correctly at the time I did the review the format was given as something like total votes(total upvotes), so that's what I put there. Noted in my review that the rating was +17 with 24 upvotes and 9 downvotes, though, so however we want to list them, those are the stats.
Announcing that we've updated the page to focus on the current review - it's now SCP-3535.
As previously noted, anyone should feel free to update the "currently under review" section if it hasn't been changed in a few days - that should help keep up momentum. Just be sensible, and don't pick one of your own skips, hey?
I’m not gonna lie, I love this idea, it gives publicity to relatively unknown or under developed SCPs
