A bit tarnished by the lack of Brass's viewpoint. Seeing through the Misters' eyes is what makes this series intriguing most of all.
But I suppose it's a different take, and with Mr. Redd physically showing up, it's clear that we're reaching the finale.
Seriously, though, need to stop shoehorning puns in here. Puns ought to be honktraband.
But we DID see through the mister's eyes. Maybe you Redd it wrong. The last couple paragraphs I think we're the ones where you were supposed to see it but I think that part must've gone in one ear and out the other. Sorry to blast at you like that I just really wanted that pun in there.
Music-notation joke. I think that it's being used here to mean "die slowly and painfully, with an agony that stretches out for a subjective infinity".
The 'breve', is classical British music notation. It designates a double whole note or a rest note of similar length. What they may apply to is something I will allow you to think about.
