Meh. The idea seems nice, but the sentence structure is a little choppy and makes it a little hard to read. I'd like to see this expanded, because it strikes me as something with potential. No vote for now. Is this your first SCP?
I like this more than I feel that I should. Lucky you :)
if your reading this your gay
There's something wrong with this one, and I'm not quite sure if I can verbalize it.
It's converting highly-trained Foundation agents into D-class personnel with histories of having committed violent atrocities.
Retroactively.
Funny — that's what I like about it. The sentence structure makes me wince a bit, but the concept is temporally horrifying. This can earn my upvote with a bit of a grammar check.

I'm standing on a concrete floor. The branch is on the concrete floor also.
I'm in one end of a swimming pool. The branch is dropped into the other end.
This thing seems like it would be impossible for the Foundation to even manipulate.
This could be changed. I was looking for a way of expressing that tools and gloves, or even throwing objects, doesn't help.
What about robots? Is this like Cain, where it's the responsible one who gets the effect?
That was the idea I was hunting, though I started to get tangled in the metaphysics.
Well, define "responsible".
What if we have a D-class in a vegetative state, and we manipulate his hands so that he's the one picking up the stick?
What if your shadow falls on the stick? You're lowering its temperature.
What if you shine a flashlight on it?
What if you hold up a lens between it and sunlight, so that focused sunlight burns a line across the stick's bark?
If A picks up the stick and throws it at B, and it bounces off B, do they both retroactively become necrophiliac serial killers?
I absolutely love the idea of an SCP the Foundation cannot empirically prove (I tried something like that once and utterly failed to pull it off), but the effect is ruined a bit by having it teleport once it is fully contained. It makes it obviously anomalous.
If the effect is supposed to be retroactive, it would make more sense for a D-Class who was handling the item claim to be an Agent. They can't prove that the item isn't anomalous, so they aren't entirely certain if the D-Class is trying to fool them or if he really was an agent until a moment ago.
It feels like this is just a hairs breadth away from being an amazing SCP.
you've got a great idea here, i LOVE it. work with someone to get ideas for things to add or change, because it could definitely be improved as an article.
I love it. It can't be objectively shown to have effects, and I was actually considering a downvote up until the second test. Now I think this is fantastic.
This is messy, but is a nice idea. Neutral for now, but this is definitely salvageable.
I'm opening a deletion vote on an article that I kind of like. The author is encouraged to work towards improving it, so this vote can be cancelled.
Calling for deletion at -5.

Any further feedback on how to improve this article would be very welcome! I've had a stab at rewriting it top to bottom, not sure where to direct future edits.
For future reference, please don't post in anything called "Staff Post" unless you are Senior Staff. Thank you.
I vote against deletion. I really do like this one, and I'd be happy to help rewrite it. PM me, LooksLikeSnow, and we'll work on it.

Sorry! Didn't know that was a faux pas, I'll avoid doing so in future. :)
As much as anything makes sense, given that most SCPs work by a nonlogic of their own, it's dirty and undistinguished, it blends in. It's purposefully unremarkable in appearance to act better as a snare.
