The final line of the interview perfectly encapsulates the thrust of a good portion of this article - it's unabashedly badass. The event log was colorful and action-packed, suffering not a moment of inane exposition, and was incredibly satisfying as far as these types of things go.

I love this article for a huge amount of reasons, but… it feels like there should be more to this whole article. I, for one, would like to see a set of exploration logs detailing the insides of this city and possibly an accidental Foundation raid on Heaven. Then again, I'm a lunatic, so… +1 anyway

Sometimes, all I want from an article is some clever humour, a good story arc and some badass fight scenes, and this delivers on all accounts. The dialogue is tight, the action engaging, and I could read the whole thing quickly and still feel satisfied — a major plus in my book. You handled an initially absurd concept very well, and it didn't seem as forced as some other articles with similar themes. I'm also becoming increasingly aware of Samsara's "badass MTF" status, which is something I wholeheartedly support: the site needs more explosions, goddammit.

There's almost nothing here that even hints at a downvote for me, you play off all the elements so well. I don't have a huge amount more to say that hasn't been said by Shaggy or Nanaya above me, except a congratulations for writing possibly my favourite Abrahamic scip on the site. Well done, +1.

I love the science vs gods of it. That being said, I was expecting something that go deeper into the theme after the event log, like an (tragic) account of events from the angelic side. Perhaps due to that expectation, I found the item log disconnecting. Even though the last item touches on the theme again, it wasn't a full exploration of it. Nevertheless, you have my +1.

Well damn, this sure changed a lot in the two days since I read it.

Considering my two big issues were the randomness of them using a border interment facility and why they had to process people on earth, I’m a huge fan of the changes to the fight’s context. The new final logs are also fantastic, and the implication at the end was just amazing.

The action is poor, the interview feels like an excuse to drop that singular line, the final section feels bloated, and the whole thing is reliant on shock value.

As a side note, this article reminds me a bit of The Salvation War, not that I liked TSW either.

It's not my usual cup of tea (not that… my usual "cup of tea" for scps skews this direction in the first place, but y'know) but I like this look at the Tower of Babel. I already knew this was about the Tower of Babel before from hearing you talk about it in chat, but I didn't read any of the earlier drafts so I had no idea that this was the direction you were taking it; I'd actually assumed it would be more about the tower itself and possibly human folly of believing in the ability to reach God.

I was going to ask if there's any reason within the context of this SCP for God's apparent loss of power, but I guess it's not really necessary to know. For whatever reason, God's gone from knocking down the Tower of Babel in one fell swoop to not even being able to keep the ruins from being invaded.
