This month's random question is: do you think it's more important to be good at multitasking or good at focusing on one thing, and why?

• Want to leave a comment or read others' thoughts on something you've read recently? Scroll down to the bottom of that page you read, click the "Discuss" link, and take a look at the comments others have posted!

Go ahead and respond to other new members if you find that your interests overlap, and definitely ask for reading suggestions if there's a particular kind of SCP article or tale you enjoy reading. You might even see some of our authors drop by here from time to time, if you mention you liked their work! :)

Hello, I’ve been reading on here for years now, and have finally decided to actually join the site. I first started reading a considerably long time ago, so I don’t recall how I originally bumped into this site and the SCP Foundation. The creativity and depth of the SCPs and lore of the Foundation was very interesting to me. I plan on continuing reading through the many articles on this site, and perhaps one day I’ll decide to write one myself.

My hobbies include constructing model tanks, drawing, and messing around with Lego. I have a great interest in the advancement of technology throughout wars, and many of my friends call me a ‘Tank Nut’.

I've recently discovered about the SCP Foundation and instanly became a huge fan of the work. My congratulations to everyone backing up this great wiki.

I've joined this wiki with two purposes: to become more active on the voting and helping the creation of new SCP, and to announce myself as an official translator for the lusophone branch of the SCP, translating from English to Brazilian Portuguese.

Hi, about 2 years ago I have been a huge fan of the SCP universe, however over time I just forgot about it. So now I've decided to rejoin this community. Mine main reason to be a member is appreciating others creativity and maybe sometime translating articles for the polish wiki (I'm from Poland btw).

I've been reading from the SCP Wiki for about 2 years now, having been forwarded the article for SCP-504; which is actually my favorite to this day. I work as a elementary ELA/History teacher, but have about 10 days off for recovery for a surgery; so I decided to join so I could join the conversation and forum posting. I can't wait to interact with new and interesting people!

I have been reading on this site for quite some time, but have finally decided to join. My favorit scips are those in the thaumiel class, with SCP-2000 as my all time top. Generally, i really like the idea that the scp foundation not only gather and contain anomalies, but utilize them in almost all aspects of their organisation.

I am really not a writer or the creative type, but i really enjoy reading all kinds of different scips (and about the different GOI's). So i will focus on reading, rating and commenting for now.

My other hobbies include psychology and politics, while i am also attending business school.

Really looking forward to my experience on this site :)

My name is Dr. NY199, but you can call me NY or whatever float in your boat. I have been reading SCP dossier for awhile and I 'm intriguing with some of the SCP (ex. SCP-914, SCP-294, SCP-500) I'll be looking forward to Writing SCPs documents, commenting, voting etc…. And get along with people! And I don't have too much hobby, I play video games(ex.fallout 4, Dayz, SCP CB obviously lol). Another hobby is Politics (don't want to get too much into it, because everyone know politics are divided.) So, yeah. I'll love to participate in this wonderful community and eventually become part of it.
