This is an scp I'm writing for a school project because I thought it would be fun. But, reasonably, my teacher doesn't really know what's going on so it's difficult for him to give feedback. All critique is appreciated just keep in mind my audience.
I forgot the link

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this, in all honesty your class/teacher isn't the main audience of this, members of the wiki are.
Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX containment is impossible.
Not a good start, the point of an SCP is that it is contained. Uncontained SCP's are very rarely able to work.
Any instances of SCP-XXXX are to be explained away as tricks of the mind and déjà vu.
This is not clinical tone and explained away to whom?
Any published description of SCP-XXXX is to be taken down.
Should be "are to be taken down" and taken down from where?
Amnestics are only to be administered to people actively spreading SCP-XXXX or upon request.
What class of Amnestics?
SCP-XXXX is an infohazard that spreads via the physical description of SCP-XXXX.
So this article is the SCP then?
A description can be acquired through any normal means of relaying information, including but not limited to; verbal descriptions, writing, and drawing. A description can also be acquired through déjà vu like visions of the near future where an instance of SCP-XXXX will appear. When the visions ends the recipient will believe that it was a vision of the future however an instance of SCP-XXXX will not appear.
I am now completely confused as to what this is. Is the SCP and infohazard or an entity?
When a description of SCP-XXXX is acquired instances will begin to appear in dim to no lighting as well as in the person’s periphery. When an instance is focused on it will disappear and often be replaced with a similarly sized object like a lamppost or tree. The amount of instances and the time it takes for instances to spawn is reliant on how much an individual thinks about SCP-XXXX.
Same point as above, this is very poorly explained.
SCP-XXXX is a humanoid figure standing approximately 2 meters tall. SCP-XXXX is solid black except for the edges which appear wispy and pixelated. Instances of SCP-XXXX never move.
I think I get what you're going for: "oh no I've read the description now I'll see the entity or something?" but it doesn't work.
Summary:
This article is very confusing, doesn't really do much with the idea which I'm still confused as to what exactly it is and has poor clinical tone.
I believe the idea is an infohazard that describes an entity and when read, it summons an entity that does…something? It's very unclear what exactly this SCP is and took my a few tries to get. I'm also not sure how this is uncontained, this seems really easy to contain; just don't let anyone see information on the description of the entity.
This isn't a particularly great idea, at least it's not really doing anything new with the "thing that gets summoned if you do something" trope and if site members aren't going to understand this, I don't see how your classmates/teacher is going to get this but again, you are writing this for SCP wiki members, not for your class/teacher.
I would advise to go back to the drawing board on this one.
Thanks, it's really helpful to know that it's not clear for someone who knows the universe. I was thinking it was just people who didn't know the universe. I'll make sure to be clearer the next time I try to write. I'll probably scrap this one though.
