SCP Foundation

Hi!

I'm new here, and I'm trying to maybe get some help brainstorming for my first SCP. If you want to read what I have so far -again, a very rough draft- go check my post in the draft and critique section.

Either way, here's the basic synopsis:

the SCP is a vietnam-era combat plane, which was active for most of the war, and served almost all the way up until the end. The crew was killed, but the plane kept…going.

• It attempts to start it engines up and prepare for takeoff (another mission)
• Causes people who enter to [trip balls] and envision the last flight.

I suspect I'm keeping my original points, but I need to have more detail… especially story-wise.

Any ideas are welcome, good or bad.

The idea reminds me of SCP-2574, only less dangerous. It could be neat, but a "war flashbacks" item is difficult to pull off, I think. As a minor note, one thing that always seems a missed opportunity for this kind of SCP is the fuel. Like it's easy to hand-wave away that the plane doesn't seem to need fuel to keep going, but I think it would be a more interesting tidbit if it did need fuel and there was a reason it kept getting it.
