Ok! First SCP! Big milestone! What do you guys think of the containment procedures? By all means, DON'T HOLD BACK. I am a new writer, and need some more experienced people to critique my work.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard object containment chamber 15x15 meters. The door leading into SCP-XXXX's containment chamber is to be double locked with a 16-digit keypad, and to be guarded by at least (1) armed on-site MTF Security Officer. Ventilation ducts are to be sealed off at all times. Under no circumstances are any Foundation personnel without at least level 3 access or higher to enter SCP-XXXX's containment chamber without permission from the 05 administration.

Right then. Almost none of this is workable.

• SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard object containment chamber 15x15 meters. > you're missing a descriptive phrase for the measurement ("measuring 15 x 15…", or "with 15 x 15 megers floor space" or the like). Also, 15 meters is almost 50 feet, which is close to the height of a five story building. That chamber is enormous and likely not standard.
• The door leading into SCP-XXXX's containment chamber is to be double locked with a 16-digit keypad, > why double? Why 16 digits? Who has the code anyway?
• and to be guarded by at least (1) > don't use the parentheses notation if you don't have the number appearing twice (one/1). Also, usually that is used for extreme precision measurements, like drug prescriptions. You don't need to do that for easy to count numbers like one.
• armed on-site MTF Security Officer. > mobile task force members are mobile, not stationed to any one site. Also, if this is a requirement, it's way overkill for a Safe class, seems like.
• Ventilation ducts are to be sealed off at all times. > what ventilation shafts? None were mentioned previously.
• Under no circumstances are any Foundation personnel without at least level 3 > Level-3
• access or higher > this is an excessively-complicate way of just saying "entry to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber requires Level-3 clearance or permission…"
• to enter SCP-XXXX's containment chamber without permission from the 05 administration. > it's O5 Council, though I really don't think they'd care about this thing. They have more important things to do. Get a senior researcher to sign off on the paperwork permissions stuff.
• also, doesn't this thing have autonomous movement? Wouldn't it need care or some kind of maintenance?

I highly recommend that you do some more reading to get a better feel for current site standards, and get your concepts checked before writing any drafts. It really feels like you're jumping the gun here.

Alrighty. Not perfect, but I think it works. This is the revised version, took my time with metric conversions, and thought long and hard about who should be able to gain access to his chamber. I removed unnecessary things like the number of digits in the pass code, and the fact that the ventilation is necessary. I made it so that it was originally Safe, but reclassified as Euclid, so that it will grab the readers' attention so that they read on to find out why. What do you think now?

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard 3x3x3^m object containment chamber. The door leading into SCP-XXXX's containment chamber is to be locked with a touch-tone keypad. The door code is to be given only to Level-3 personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX's chamber. Access to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber requires Level-2 access or higher. Any and all personnel entering SCP-XXX's containment chamber require Level-3 access or higher, and are to accompanied by at least one armed on-site Foundation Guard. SCP-XXXX requires no maintenance nor care, but is to be interviewed on a monthly basis by Assistant Researcher Motely Strong.
