SCP Foundation

Hello, this is my first scp, and i'm always a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things. However I'm horrible at grammer, and am new to this whole "writing an scp thing". Helpful critiques and checks would be nice :D. I can't wait too see what wonderful tips and ideas you lot come up with :D

Okay, so I took a quick look at this… and to be honest, there are a lot of small errors that are immediately noticeable that tend to be downvote bait:

• Non-metric measurements: the Foundation, as a scientific organization, only uses metric. The " marks denote inches, and you have measurements in feet later on. Neither of those are metric.
• Unnecessary capitalization. "The SCP-XXXX Varients", "The Chest itself", "a Containment unit/cell", and so on. Regular adjectives don't need to be capitalized.
• Unnecessarily-specific measurements. If the thing isn't going to break out of containment if the box keeping it is off by a couple centimeters, there's no reason to require those specifications.
• Sloppy typos, such as; "The doors too SCP-XXXX’s containment unit are to be blast doors" > should be to, not too, "retrievel" later on, etc.
• Improper spacing: please put a line space between separate paragraphs. Not doing so makes the piece look sloppy, and results in a "wall of text" effect that can overwhelm or frustrate readers.
• Containment procedures that don't really make sense. Why is a regular empty chest needed when someone can just coat the fuses of the things (or the entire explosive) with a non-flammable substance? Do some more research: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamite#Storage_considerations
• And so on.

Regarding the concept… it's kind of bland. Feels almost like you took the emotions from the movie Inside-Out and made them into dynamite. The interviews don't really present new information, since they basically just have talking that reiterates the stuff presented earlier. Why do these things exist the way they are anyway?

I recommend getting the base idea polished up in the Ideas and Brainstorming forum before you try fixing the draft.
