SCP Foundation

So my idea is a stone (that was originally found in a mine in Brazil), when exposed to a human for an hour, makes them have an irresistible urge to carry out a murder with the stone. When exposed to human blood, the stone will soak it up, making it bigger the more blood it absorbs. If the stone becomes too big to carry, the person who is being controlled by the stone will bash their head into it, killing themselves.

I would probably classify it as safe since if it was discovered it could be moved to a containment unit where its mind-bending waves could not penetrate.

Items and objects that compel people to kill themselves or others are attempted constantly, with few really sticking due to proliferation of the concept. The most recent success in this vein to my knowledge would be SCP-3041, and that's really because the author put a unique spin on it (I won't spoil it here) that helped it to stand out.

This particular idea thus doesn't strike me as interesting or original, that's not to say it cannot be done, but it will take an extra something else to turn this into a compelling story.

Below I will list some brief descriptions of ideas I have if you like or dislike one, tell me why

Birthday card-safe This SCP would be in the form a birthday card that would teleport into someone's mailbox, this would be one of those annoying singing cards and would have a jingle that would play. After the jingle has been heard it will remain in the person's head. This prevents any other thought in someone's head for more than 5 seconds, if left unattended it will teleport to another mailbox somewhere in the world, the only way it cannot teleport if the music is playing.

Haunted pen- safe This SCP would be found on the floor of an office or school, if someone were to pick it up and use it, it would write awful ideas (TBD what it would be) if it was placed with other pens it would infect other pens with the "Curse"

Cursed Earbuds Euclid These would be earbuds that would wrap around someone's ears while they are distracted when wrapped completely wrapped around both ears, it constricts like a snake. It is pulled with such force that it physically melds the ears shut, causing deafness

Like I said these are just fun ideas I had if you like them or think they could be improved let me know.
