Okay, so… a lot of errors with this.
First off, improper formatting. Please use the templates in the How to Write an SCP Guide for the coding to use for proper bolded headings. Many of your sentences are run-ons, and need to be fixed with either punctuation or separating them into two sentences. For example:
SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a humanoid containment cell at Humanoid Containment Site-06-3 with no contact with organic material other than at feeding time.
This is better written as the following sentence, or two sentences with a period where this one has a semicolon:
SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a humanoid containment cell at Humanoid Containment Site-06-3; no contact with organic material is allowed except when it is being fed. |
With regards to the rest of the article, it comes off as pretty bland, especially since you have lazy expungment right from the start: "Once SCP-XXXX comes into physical contact with living matter it will [DATA EXPUNGED], leaving only the bones," could be filled in with "it will then DROP SOME SICK BEATS AND DANCE SUPER HARD". There's nothing in the article telling me that this isn't the case. I recommend reading over this guide on interesting expungment for some tips. Also, bacteria and fungi and plants are all organic, and none of those have bones.
There's also the fact that plenty of this reads like more of a video game manual than a professional scientific paper, in sentences like "Tests show SCP-XXXX seems to be at full health and resumes normal brain activity after regeneration." If you haven't had much experience writing professional-level papers in clinical tone, consider doing some self-study by reading some scientific papers published in modern journals.
At this point though, I recommend getting the base idea polished up in the Ideas and Brainstorming forum before you try fixing the draft. Go to that forum, post a quick summary of the concept you want to write up (don't link the draft unless someone asks), and reviewers there can help you make the idea more interesting and give you some advice on structuring the eventual article for smoothness of reading and narrative.
