A revised version of "The Dud". Pretty much a check before mainlist. If anyone with knowledge of making firearms SCP's interesting for non-firearms people please reply.

My SCP was based off an idea I had. It is a "dud" (a bullet that doesn't fire), but not only is it permanently a dud - it turns other bullets into duds as well. Could be secretly used for de-armament purposes. Feedback on the idea is appreciated.

My new draft is revised per feedback from Zyn and AGar56. Many thanks to them.
The draft is rearranged for cohesiveness, removed/simplified some firearms jargon in the desc, streamlined the interviews in Testing Log 2, and added an addendum giving more idea behind the story.

As noted in the draft forum guidelines: authors, please do not create multiple threads for the same draft (Editing a draft does not make it a new draft. It becomes a new version of the same draft.). Using one thread helps keep spam down, and prevents flooding of the forums with repeat threads. Furthermore, it helps reviewers a lot if all corresponding feedback is kept in one place for efficiency of reference and discussion.
