SCP Foundation

So, my idea is basically that the SCP is a snowman, who can communicate with you telepathically. It is very intelligent and claims to know the secrets of the world. Its snow will be made of an unknown substance which, upon touching, will result in a severe skin reaction.

That's all I want to reveal because I don't want to spoil the rest. I just wanted to know if this idea was original, or if someone has already done it.

We're going to need to know more to make an appropriate judgment call on the idea. As it stands, what you have written down reminds me of Frosty the Snowman mixed with a generic "knows stuff" archetype, resulting in something that doesn't look like it'll be interesting.
