SCP Foundation

So, I was attending Tanz der Vampire in Vienna and finding myself thinking, "I wish this experience would never end. It's just so wonderful."

Then my writing muse went off.

"What about a theatre that's accidentally built over an Eldritch Location? What if members of the troupes that perform there are all supernatural creatures of assorted types? What if they feed on the audience every performance, and victims who are killed are erased out of existence?"

I'm thinking of things to make this Foundation-worthy, as well as the direction to take it - do I go full horror, or not? Is the Foundation likely to keep watch on the theatre and tone the level of feeding down so that the location becomes a safe haven for vampires/fae/werewolves/the like?

And more importantly… has this been done before?

I'm going to be honest, it kinda sounds like herman fuller, but I think you can distance it enough that it might work on its own. Just for reference, what is the Tanz der Vampire?

What you need to do is decide what kind of story you want to tell. Sure, you could easily go horror, but that would be obvious. You could go down the empathy for the monsters, or you can do something else. What I propose is that you somehow make it a love story, perhaps that will distance that from any obvious route you could take. Just a suggestion.

I'll just go down the list of ideas as presented.
1. I don't think that sort of backstory is necessary
2. While something like that makes sense, it would suck to describe. If I were you, I would stick to one type of creature.
3. You don't have to make them super kill-kill, and why erase them?
4. See second paragraph
5. They most definitely would keep watch of the theater. What you could do is make them cursed to stay in the theater for some reason, hopefully for story reasons.
6. I'm not sure if it has been done before, but someone could correct me.
