SCP Foundation

So, I have a draft of right now, and the idea is pretty simple.

The SCP itself is a humanoid, with grey skin and no features, similar to a mannequin. Though, it can become human, because of a large mouth hidden in it's chest behind what looks to just be scar tissue. It can consume a human and become them, but the mouth almsot seems to work on it's own.

In case you want to read through the actual Draft, get a better sense of what I mean, I'll put the link as well. But I was told to bring the idea here, look for some more inspiration to work off of, maybe change the base idea of it a bit.

Humanoid SCPs are notoriously hard, and this particular one lacks depth and just seems like 'thing that kills you'.

If your SCP is sapient, it will likely interact with site personnel or interview at some point. It will need a personality, a worldview, aspirations, fears, etc. Not all of these will be stated. You really have to understand who they are before you can write them. This makes it hard.

As for what you currently have, it's very much cheap death/horror instead of anything particularly novel. We're at almost 4000 SCPs onsite - many of them include depth, or being consume. Some include being copied. You need something that sets yours apart from all others.

I only did a cursory look over the draft, but if your idea is what you say it is, it needs more complexity and nuance rather than just 'it consumes and clones people'.
