The concept is that a scented candle that never runs out of wax will be able to speak to you through telepathy if you smell it’s scent. Tell me what you think.

It's unique, but I don't think it's gonna be successful as-is.

The issue is that most modern SCPs aren't just reports on objects, but stories in the form of reports on objects. They focus more on the circumstances and events surrounding the SCP; events that led to its creation, how people respond to it, its purpose in the Foundationverse, or what it msy imply about the Foundationverse are thinfs that modern day SCPs tend to examine.

In other words, you have your object. What do you want to have gappen involving or because of your object?

Scent-iant candle

The pun is funny but I don't think there's much to the concept.

I mean, it might make for a silly joke SCP with that pun as the punchline, after the candle goes through an entire interview describing itself with all the usual scientific terms ascribed to sentience (e.g., "I have the capacity to feel, perceive or experience subjectively" / " But what are you?" / "I am a Scent-iant candle"). But there's a risk people will dislike it heavily for the pun.

Where do you want to go with this? How do you want the audience to react?
