Is this correct? 25 to 83 days?
When I use "0600 to 2000 hours", I'm talking in military time, not literally 600 hours/25 days. So 0600 hours would be 6am and 2000 hours would be 8pm. I've seen this format used before so I thought it might be fine.
Why can't the people navigating the site just identify themselves with credentials and all that?
I guess you're right, but I thought it might be a good idea to minimize contact between the two groups, since the Maintenance Personnel aren't really doing maintenance and don't want to feel restrained with the shifty activity they're performing, involving B12, that might accidentally cause some of the suspicious Observation Personnel to come prying in to their affairs. But if you really think it seems out of place, I will change it!
It sounds like your including the people who even opposed the riot, including researchers and task force units who were a part of the incident.
True! I will change that, thank you.
Do you mean offices, sleeping quarters or any living space in the site? It sounds like you're saying an actual civilian residence, and the Foundation wouldn't allow personnel to live long-term in a place like that at all.
Also very true, I didn't consider that. I actually did mean civilian residence, but I forgot to take in to account they wouldn't be allowed to. I shall fix that!
This doesn't sound like something a Foundation researcher would say during an interview. They would usually be formal.
You're right, I was taking a chance with that. For some reason I kept struggling with how the researcher would tell him to tell his story anyway and I tried that to see if I could maybe get away with it. I'll rewrite that line.
Throughout the interview, the Class-D said nobody remembered anybody who left except him. If someone leaves, absolutely nobody remembers them, right? Is this a mistake in the article or is this on purpose?
It's on purpose. It's not explained why he somehow remembers, it could be the conditions at the time (maybe a natural "Scranton-Faraday Cage", something the note at the end shows to be a shield against the effect, is around his holding cell?) or maybe he is anomalous himself, but I didn't think it too relevant. The point is, normally everyone forgets since those that have gone down to B12 have even their past erased, but this guy has some memories (not all, he can't remember names) of the now non-existent persons. I decided to focus more on those memories as opposed to how he still has them.
I'm glad you liked the concept! Your analysis isn't far off my actual intention for what's going on. I deliberately wanted to make it so it's just vague enough for the reader to rely on their own theory whilst still giving everyone the same overall consensus. I like stories where I feel clever for solving a difficult mystery myself, so I wanted to create that effect here.
