From M_E's post above:
The plot you've outlined is excessively focused on scenario to the detriment of thematic depth and simple entertainment.
This means that you need to focus on writing something that is entertaining and meaningful to a reader, rather than just setting up a situation that you think is cool.
It gives me a sense that it doesn't make sense so much as it was made to be large scale and "epic."
This means that you need to put more thought into the story, besides the fact that you just want to make it sound cool.
The problem is, writing stories at that scale requires writing and plotting of a similar quality to justify its existence.
This means that you need to think carefully about the plot development, your writing ability, and how you will improve on both of those to make something that the audience will enjoy reading, not just you.
I've been thinking of contributing something to the Resurrection canon since I already read everything in it and is a big fan of the "series".
Being a big fan of something doesn't necessarily equate to being able to write well for that something.
When you write for this site, you write for an audience. Don't assume that just because you think something is cool that automatically means that the audience will love it. Get your concepts reviewed and see if anyone is interested in those. If not, figure out why and how you can improve from there.
Work on each piece with the goal of entertaining someone who is not you. Don't get too blindsided by a lofty goal or epic story endgame before you've gotten started.
