Hello, So I've developed a few ideas I like but I want to start with this one. I've been developing it for awhile and I want to be sure it's something that would be interesting/hasn't already been done. Also because it's built around a real plane crash, I want to confirm that it's not crossing a line. I'm eager for feedback.
Flight N4726V is on route from Honolulu to LAX in the middle of the night of March 28th, 1964. During the flight, the pilot reported an engine fire that may cause the crew and passengers to abandon the plane over the ocean but there were no further reports from then on. SCP operatives are alerted to the plane reappearing in the Arizona desert, the crew and passengers either all replaced or transformed into rubber mannequins. Further investigation shows that the entire body (organs bones) of the passengers and all living organic material had been transformed into a rubber-like material. Things seem safe, but then several years later, a member of the Level 0 staff organized to clean the plane also transforms into a plastic mannequin.
So the question becomes: How? Is it better to leave it a secret? I know how it happens and can write it in, but does it lose something if it's known? Let me know what you all think.
