So the main idea is that there's a pretty stereotypical ARG website you can access through some link (blocked by the foundation), but there is a major twist;
If any human attempts to dig into this ARG, a memetic agent will take affect. This memetic agent manipulates the victim to where he/she will become addicted to the ARG to the point where personal hygiene and care is completely ignored. Those exposed to the memetic effect become violent and angry if they are blocked from using the computer used in ARG research. So far, thousands of pieces of meaningless media (videos, pictures, audio recordings, etc.) have been recovered by the foundation and all media that has been deciphered leads to either new websites with even more information or random nonsense. It is believed that if a new website link is discovered, that website and all the ARG media in it doesn't exist until someone accesses it.
