Hi! New user, long-time fan. Sorry if I'm a little rough in knowing where/how to post. I believe this is the right forum for this kind of question, as it pertains to how Wikia as a website functions, not to the administration of this wiki.

Do my contributions to deleted threads or pages not count toward my karma? I've started leaving critiques and discussion on posts that I find, and two of the threads have already been deleted. Because my comments are no longer visible on my profile, does this mean they don't count toward my user karma? Or is it still there?

Karma can take some time to accrue. It took me the better part of a year to get to Very High Karma, and It's been nearly 4 years since then, and I still haven't gotten the final bar.

If you just keep making edits on the sandbox and commenting around the forums and discussion threads, your karma will go up.

Because my comments are no longer visible on my profile, does this mean they don't count toward my user karma?

I would imagine that would be the case. Otherwise it'd be incredibly easy to farm karma by spamming forums, even if wiki staff deleted the spam.
