SCP Foundation

My idea for the canon is that SCP-2399 has completed its repairs and is engulfing Jupiter to turn the planet itself into a super weapon. This, of course, means that the Great Red Spot has disappeared from Jupiter. Meanwhile, the Department of Extraterrestrial Affairs does their best to negotiate with the beings which operate SCP-2399. The twist? Jupiter is a distraction; they're building another massive mechanical structure underground on Earth.

Does this sound interesting? Do you see any immediate troubles with the initiation/implementation of this canon/series?

(I use canon/series because I do not know if it has enough content to be a full canon.)

Definitely has plenty of potential thanks to the excellent setup premise 2399 provides, though I’m not sure if the second machine makes sense with the info given if it’s on earth already. I do like the idea of a red-herring threat though.

If you want to kickstart a canon, make some tales about the topic. If they’re well received, you’ll attract other writers to the project.

If you need more plot ideas or clarifications, consulting the original author of 2399, Djkaktus, is a good idea.
