I thought of this idea sort of out of the blue and I thought it was brilliant.
In summary, it's an atom that has a fissure down the center and half of it is shifted slightly, so it's close to completely splitting. It is located inside the DNA structure of every human being, but there's only one. When the atom splits, it causes a chain reaction of all the atoms inside the DNA of the human to go through nuclear fission, causing a large explosion. The only way that the atom can split is under mental stress, and there is no exact limit to the stress to cause it to break; it varies, and mostly does not happen.
I have a few ideas for lore, too, like it was responsible for some events in history. Maybe like some large explosions, such as Pompeii, Krakatoa, and Mount Tabora, and earthquakes such as the Chilean earthquake. It could also be tied to events such as the Manhattan Project, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Chernobyl.
