Have you not read many tales before? It's very common for them to break from the usual tone of the website. There are plenty out there which are far more silly and outrageous than this one.

X Man syndrome is a problem for SCPS, not tales

It is NOT a superhero site. This, this is madness!!! This goes against the very guidelines that were imposed on us when we first joined the site!!

On a more serious note: This is a tale, and part of what makes tales wonderful is that they don't have to abide by the 'rules' of the Foundation — tonally, narratively, or otherwise.

Also, let's not forget: This is a writing community built upon the premise that there's a global conspiracy surrounding the magical poop-smeared murder-statue that breaks your neck if you blink at it.

I think the superhero stuff is fine.

The O5s decided whether it was a desperate enough situation to change approaches, and the majority ruled.
