The media and dangerous anomalies… I'm not sure which to be more scared of.
So do I, for that. Although Azi doesn't look like a lizard, and skin-cloak and Percy didn't get along well… but then again, things always change around here.
Midnight has the advantage of looking like a cat, since that's what she mostly is. See a cop, pause to groom self… go about cat business.
I probably missed the cameos, but it was an amusing read overall. However, the fact that whoever wrote the diary actually managed to get away after he was both noticed and had been hit by the after effects of an explosion seems like a rather unrealistic scenario that exists solely so the author could write one final entry, to me at least. The final note indeed adds a nice "But wait!" there, but I can't say it was exactly unexpected. No vote.
e: Nitpick.
Few quiet thumps and some yelling, and suddenly the whole place when to shit
Went?
This is reasonably interesting, but goddamn the narrator is obnoxious. No vote.
Little thing that irked in in the final line. It looks like you were using phonetic alphabet on that last line. If so, you would probably want to use Romeo instead of Romero. Just my opinion though. Otherwise, it's a decent tale.
