While I liked the story - loved its concise and effective method - I disagree that the Head Researcher of a project would, by default, by the one in most proximity to it. Especially with a potentially memetic or cognito-hazardous "Compulsion Object" like this.

I think either:
a) It should be noted, and considered slightly odd, that Dr. Martinez was in such constant close-proximity to SCP-3565 (perhaps due to morbid fascination, perhaps it is another of SCP-3565's effects)
OR
b) It should be a lower level researcher, or perhaps a dedicated sanitary/custodial worker (janitor, "feeder", etc). This requires less explanation as to why they were in close proximity. Even if staff are rotated out, someone *has* to be the last on to be rotated; this person will have the longest "gestation" time - the others can have similar abnormal births, but this staff member can have the Martinez Experience.
