This is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever written. I'm not sorry.

This warmed my heart, brought a smile to my face, and lightened up my day. I'm glad this exists.
+1
this file is too powerful

Almost made me forget about my crippling loneliness.
Absolutely sick of cute and heart warming stuff, even in a joke format

Edit: For clarity, I got the joke, so no need for your r/whoosh comments
i agree

EDIT: i have now been enlightened by the pun gods and i am now giving this a +1
Not everything has to be grimdark horror porn. This is freaking adorable. Y'all are just killjoys.
And that's why this is bad
Bright cheery stuff does not fit in a grimdark sci-fi wiki

There's a pretty wide variety of articles on this website; it really runs the gamut as far as evoked emotions go. To call this wiki a grimdark horror wiki would be a misnomer in my opinion.
I thought we moved past "SCP is a horror wiki" after S1. If you think SCP is only for telling horror, you're gonna have a bad time. Don't dictate what authors can and can't write.
do people forget 999 and 131 exist sometimes?
pastarasta1 is quick-talking and often scheming
999 and 131 are only popular to the offsite fanbase
Actual writers aren't fans of them

Except for the ones who are. Could you please stop this habit of speaking for other members as if you're an authority figure or knowledgable in any way, shape, or form? Because you are not.
ETA - Fun Facts edition.
According to our statistics site, scpper, SCP-131 has 73 positive votes from wiki contributors, and if we're only taking into account votes cast by active members ('active' as in, interacting with the site sometime in the last six months) then it still has over 200 positive votes. exhibit A
SCP-999, meanwhile, has 130 positive contributor votes and a whopping 537 positive votes from active users. exhibit B
jsyk
I mean, I'm a writer, and I like them.
Admin, SCP Wiki
Are you trying to imply that “only true fans dislike 999 and 131” because damn if that’s some silly logic. I don’t like 999 but let me tell you I love 131.

I've been on this Wiki for several years and I love SCP-999 with my entire heart. You can state your own preferences for the wiki, but state them as *your own preferences*. If you're going to try to speak for the other members, you need to actually ASK some other members first. You can't just assume everyone shares your opinion and claim your own feelings are the popular sentiment.
Echoing SecretCrow's sentiments. If we constrict ourselves to only writing for a certain genre, we lose out on a lot of great fiction for no benefit whatsoever. I'd be sad to lose "Here Were Dragons", Durbal, or the Tickle Monster, but those are neither sci-fi nor horror. I think that our community has become so much more than a grimdark sci-fi/horror wiki, and there is really no reason to try to change that.
HWB gets a pass in my book because it had a sad ending
This wiki, in general, is Science Fiction.
From wikipedia:
Science fiction is a genre of speculative fiction, typically dealing with imaginative concepts such as advanced science and technology, spaceflight, time travel, and extraterrestrial life.
This wiki deals in all of that and more so I consider this wiki to be sci-fi

You are correct, this wiki deals with sci-fi topics and so much more. The wiki has grown into a community where any genre is excepted. Not to forget that sci-fi is not always sad and dark.
I have written one sf article out of 18 pages.
There's very little sf here, and a lot of new weird, IMO.
If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. - Eleonora Duse, Italian stage actress.
:(
This is a -J though, I thought that you can do whatever you want with that format
the proposal pun was pretty damn funny tbh

Agreed.
I not sure why I didn't enjoy it when I read it, but I didn't like it.
I cried a little and now I ship it. This was adorable and shows how effective happy emotions can be conveyed. Take your upvote, and write some cute tales about this.
