SCP Foundation

So a while back, Smapti posted a challenge thread wherein you were supposed to take an old SCP and reimagine it. I said I was going to tackle my old shame, the Animal Talker, and here it is. As a bonus, I also mentioned my other shame, the Wind Controlling Child. So here, many moons later, I finally finish the damn thing. Hooray.

This was pretty good. I liked it enough to +1, but there are a few grammatical things, one of which I can't fix because I don't know what you want to say.

But on the whole, this was really interesting. I love these "day in the life" tales and this definitely was good enough to qualify! Bravo Cryo!

Interesting. I'd say you made good use of that old material. A reasonable introduction to anomalous objects for the uninitiated.

AIEE is a fitting name, because it probably approximates the sounds new researchers often make in response to their first SCP.

An interesting step forward from a regular orientation, being that it actually shows the first steps the new researchers would have to take. I also like that it shows that not all of the staff in charge of trainees love to torment the newbies and are capable of a little empathy.

It's a good idea, but it's not executed well enough to get the upvote. The style is a bit clumsy, and the characters are almost complete blank slates, except for the anomalous individual — who is memorable, but… too cliched to work for me.
