I like it, but working on my limited knowledge of history, wasn't Archduke Franz Ferdinand assassinated with a bomb rather than a gun?
i like the idea but i do not like how it was used in all these historic moments, it makes no sense! how would it be carried from one place to another and such, not to mention how can it change into a shell if its a cartage? if it just becomes the shell then how is it still usable after?
Upon reading again, it would appear the writer misunderstood the term 'cartridge' (Or I am.). It could be better termed a 'Bullet'…as it is, the term cartridge suggests it's a bottomless magazine.
A shell and the cartridge, in the sense it currently makes, are essentially the same thing…a container for gunpowder or other substance to provide the propulsive force which also contains the thing which is actually fired.
I wonder how it reacts upon being presented with a weapon that fires caseless ammunition. Will the bullet itself reform after its fired?
As for how it was used in those historic moments…it could 'desire' to be used in moments which guide history.
it should also be listed as safe, it seems to be completely under control!

I'm sorry, I don't see anything wrong with this one. Saved, unless the other Senior Staff have issues.

An apple sized chunk of anti matter only gives off as much energy as one atomic bomb. This bullet, depending on the size of the amount of antimatter, would only give off a maximum of 1/15 the force of an atom bomb. lets say the bullet was a .357 round. if the tip was glass, and the inside of the tip was a small BB sized piece of antimatter suspended inside the glass not touching it, then the explosion would not be greater than 1/250 of an atom bomb. This could be safely fired off a cliff into the distance.
You realize the sci fi novel stock claim "antimatter is as powerful as an atom bommmmmb!" is not an actual measurement, right?

It's a decent approximation to the pure theoretical release of energy released with a certain amount of annihilated antimatter to the layman (depends on the nuclear bomb compared). I blame the media (e.g. Dan Brown. Why is A&D so popular? =/) and rock & roll for the bad INTERNET SCIENCE. Damn devil's music.
(And "apple-sized chunk" is a goddamn lot of antimatter)
Apparently I once upvoted this thing - possibly because of the [[[SCP-127]] reference? Dunno.
I've since changed my mind. This is awful.
I wouldn't call it awful, there have been far worse articles. But yeah, meh, doesn't grab my interest at all.
This was one of the first SCP articles I ever read. Time has not been kind to it, and it no longer stands for itself against the list. Sad.
Suggesting deletion at -7.
Why would we -ARC it and not delete it outright?
It's one of the first ever articles, and is referenced by several Foundation tales.
Ah, I couldn't remember off the top of my head it being referenced in any tale. In that case, thirding the -ARC.
