I really like this one.
While SCP is sort of supposed to be about shitting bri/x/, I personally like seeing some like this.

I don't get how it'd interact freakily with 529 and 530.
You know what I think makes this article one of my favourites? The Foundation will lock people with odd abilities in small rooms for the rest of their lives, and yet we let 100% unsaturated paper birds fly about as they like. This says a lot about The Foundation's institutional attitude to others.
People with weird powers running around the site don't increase morale! Especially not 076.
The more Safe humans seem to be allowed to go to the more public areas (Nose-Portal and Hopper come to mind), but not with other SCPs. If they prove to be more dangerous (Such as the Tengu, 053 and the Antimatter Parasite), or we're dangerous to them (Sufferer, Brittle Boy) they're secluded. The Foundation isn't cruel to be cruel, but to be effective.
In this case… Well, they ARE effectively contained within their original offices, but I don't see why we wouldn't put this inside an aviary for its own safety.
We just have an agent spray it down with scotch guard sealant while it sleeps once in a while. :P
I sort of love the fact that the Foundation lets these fly around the office. I think it leads a very neat sort of atmosphere to the Foundation, because while it can be a grim, cold and clinical prison, it is also a fantastic place of oddities and magic, and I think the Foundation is at its best when both those things are evident.
Such delightful little creatures. :3
Piffy is an SCP Foundation Moderator, Lv. 9001 Squishy Wizard, and Knight of the Red Pen.
I'm now picturing looney tunes antics with this , 530, and 529. My brain is happy.
I want to know what happens when it is photocopied for the 999th or 1,000th time. 1,000 animated paper cranes have got to have some significance.
Because that would be a Senbazuru. It's an old Japanese legend that anyone who folds 1000 paper cranes would get a wish granted by a crane.
Welcome to the 100 club, my little paper friend!
