You know what. I like this. It's not overly dramatic, it doesn't try to be something overwhelming, the influence is subtle, and it's well written. All of these things are plenty to warrant a +1 from me.

A minor pick, though.

Same-sex marriage legislation was voted upon in New York seven days after the incident. ██% of people voted in favor of its legalization, compared to only █% negative votes.

No real need to blackbox that, since that was a real event and the numbers are public.

I think the article is very well written.

Personally, I don't really like the idea that same-sex marriage legislation was the result of a SCP. I think it kind of undermines the huge win that it was. Also, I think the Occupy Wall Street reference will quickly become dated, but I may be wrong.

It needs a gas mask with Mickey Mouse ears that is bleeding dollar bills onto a starving immigrant Bart Simpson.

Edit: That sounds flippant, I should explain. This SCP is neither insane enough or realistic enough to be good. Right now it just reads like a little bland wish fulfillment with a too mild twist of "it got people killed" at the end.

This thing should both misunderstand what it is doing and turn it up to 11. It needs to embarrass Banksy in its overreach, and then it needs to go on a purity quest where it turns the people it superficially supports against each other by constantly one-upping whatever position they hold with a bigger word stew including terms like "colonialism" "patriarchy" "cisgendernormativity" and such that make the average Tumblr bio seem tame by comparison.

When it is at a minimum wage rally it needs to demand something higher than what the protestors are asking for. If there's a marriage equality rally it demands polygamy. Its motivation should be to be more better and more authentic and more opporessed than anyone around it. And if anyone near it questions its message or advocates for restraint it needs to rally everyone around to destroy the white racist bigoted xtian from Texas.

It's very competently written. It's just not interesting, in my opinion. -1

I feel like this is kind of bland. I like the way it gets signs, but we've already got living graffiti that can transfer itself to other surfaces.

We already have lots of living drawings/graffiti, and lots of SCPs being aware of the Foundation and trying to break containment. That being said, I found this good enough to give a +1.

Could be an AWCY?, but ultimately works better as not. Neat to see another SCP that isn't AWCY? artifying the world with its statements going so far.
